In developing the name for this modern and elegant brand, our primary objective was to resonate with an audience of women aged 20 to 55, who lead active social lives and have a keen sense of personal style. These women seek out high-quality accessories that reflect their individuality, sophistication, and attention to detail. With this in mind, we created the name “Hari,” inspired by the Swahili word “Kifahari,” meaning elegant. The name draws on the historical significance of jewelry, as East Africa is home to some of the earliest known uses of it, dating back over 40,000 years.
The name “Hari” was carefully chosen to reflect the brand’s core values of quality, elegance, and timeless beauty. It’s simple, yet refined, just like the women it caters to, offering a strong connection between the brand’s luxurious offerings and the audience’s desire for unique, trend-conscious pieces that enhance their personal appearance.
